From the Editor:
Romance is in the air this issue and we’ve indulged our ongoing obsession with vintage elegance, traditional touches and all things darling in a dedicated feature (p.137). Dip in for a fi x of wedding gorgeousness. We also channelled that feeling you get when you walk into a room full of beautiful blooms. ‘Uplifted’ is one word for it. The perfect petals can really take a celebration to a new level and our creative fl oral designers share the season’s most coveted trends and styles on page 83. When we’re not poring over peonies, swooning over gowns and jewels or checking out cool reception venues, at QB we love planning our dream honeymoons. And this issue the Thailand and Bali packages in our Honeymoon Heaven feature alone had us drafting a new wish list. Check it out on page 195. Finally, I thought I’d share a few behind-the-scenes images from our winter features, including our dishy groom’s shoot (p. 55) where we were lucky enough to photograph inside one of Kangaroo Point’s luxe Scott Street apartments. Furnished by Deka Design it is seriously stylish. Browse more online at www.queenslandbrides.com.au where you can also keep up to date with the latest in bridal land. See you there! - Nicole
