2013 Queensland Brides Design Awards Registration is OPEN!

There was inspiration aplenty at the 2012 Queensland Brides Design Awards, with a record number of 137 gorgeous gowns vying for prizes including the coveted Supreme and popular People’s Choice awards. Coming up is the 2013 Queensland Brides Design Awards, and we're incredibly excited.

Qld Brides Design Awards, one night ... 119 glorious gowns.

Introducing every gown from the 2010 Queensland Brides Design Awards.

One night. 119 glorious gowns. Held in October at the Brisbane Convention Centre, where couples had already enjoyed a day at our fabulous Wedding & Honeymoon Expo, the awards were an inspirational showcase of all things bridal and beautiful. 

A judging panel which included some of the stars of the local wedding and design industries as well as three People’s Choice judges had the rather daunting task of nominating winners from the parade of head-turning gowns. Compères Leigh Muirhead and Steve Hill guided us through fi ve categories full of gorgeous fabrics, stunning silhouettes, incredible workmanship and plenty of variety. 

In the ever-popular Student Calico Bride category the bright future of Queensland design was on show. You’ll be astonished at what these young designers can do with a swathe of calico and a lot of imagination! Enjoy choosing your favourites and see you at the 2011 awards.
