As soon as we spotted this dazzling wedding we just knew we had to share! Brittany Baldwin and Mitchell Clough met when they were next door neighbours and at age 12, Brittany knew she had found the boy she was going to marry. And this stunning Queensland-based stunt woman certainly got her wish, saying I do in a majestic Richard de Chazal gown. The couple returned to the scene of Mitchell's proposal, Palazzo Versace, for a lavish celebration, with guests taking home mini Versace fragrances in a nod to the luxe location.

gown notes from the designer
Brittany’s gown was created from beaded, embroidered Italian lace over mother-of-pearl micro-sequined silk georgette and re-rembroidered with Swarovski crystal and pearl detail. It features an empire bust line, hourglass corset and mermaid fishtail, finished with a gold silk pleated ruffle and diamanté accents and worn with a Belle Époque inspired jewelled necklace and mock jewelled capelet fastened with crystal buttons. The ensemble was finished with an antique peineta (decorative Spanish comb) worn in a loose chignon with cascading fresh flowers.
Horses featured as a reception motif to represent Brittany's passion for the majestic animals. A carriage with two white horses carried Brittany to her prince and the ceremony aisle was lined with a dozen ivory and gold horse statues which were lovingly restored by the bride’s grandparents. The altar featured two large fl oral arrangements (flowers echoed those in the bridal bouquet) positioned on sandstone pedestals. Each table was decorated with posies of flowers, tea light candles and jewels with a centrepiece of a large crystal candelabra placed on a round mirror to reflect the candlelight. The three-tier wedding mudcake was decorated in ivory lustre fondant with gold piping and pillars with an ivory and gold Fabergé egg completing the ornate design. The couple shared their first dance to I Do (Cherish You) by 98 Degrees, selected by Brittany when she was 14 years old, and dry ice was used to create the illusion that the newlyweds were floating on clouds.
