We heard you loud and clear.
Last week we asked you on
Facebook which venue you preferred out of beach of rainforest, and we got a massive response to RAINFOREST.
While Queensland is definitely known for its beaches, it also has over 200 rainforests and national parks. Be sure to do your research when deciding on a venue as to which is the right option for you.
These are our recommendations:

In the Gold Coast Hinterland, nestled amongst some of the most beautiful rainforestry in the state is one of our favourite venues -
O'Reilly's. They have a mixture of different locations within that cater to different wedding party sizes and preferences. They are currently offering 20% off all new bookings until 30 June 2014, so it's a great time to choose a rainforest wedding.
BRISBANE - WALKABOUT CREEK

Further north, in Brisbane, in the D'Aguilar National Park is
Walkabout Creek, another venue that caters for rainforest weddings. They even have a special going on! If you book your wedding reception at Walkabout Creek on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday of next year, you receive an immediate complimentary package upgrade.
CAIRNS - PARONELLA PARK
Up in Cairns, in Mena Creek is Paronella Park, a venue famous for its fairytale Spanish castle, it's actually the ruin of an old wedding venue that sadly burned down in the seventies, but now it has become one with the rainforest, and is a wedding venue once more! We've discovered that quite a few of our real life brides have chosen this one.
