Modern Autumn Elegance

The crisp cool tones of Queensland’s autumn months inspired this swanky urban shoot coordinated by Styled Events and Invitation Station. 

A fresh, original colour palette of mustard yellow, cornflower blue and stone grey offset by lush white florals creates a contemporary feel, whilst silver elements and touches of 1920's cocktail culture reference the elegance of the past.

FLOWERS
Nicole at Stem Design perfectly balanced modernity and elegance with her full, low-set floral arrangements. A monochromatic palette characterised the bulk of the florals, with pops of green, silver and blue mirroring the crisp colour palette of the table setting. Sleek cylindrical vases and plain white florals were a simple ceremony option that had huge impact against the vibrant green of the grass.

STATIONERY
Cara from Invitation Station incorporated a punchy modern edge into the stationery. Miniature drinks flags, a cute illustrated couple and funky script added a sense of playfulness to the range of decorative elements, whilst the unique custom- wrapped invitation and personalised seals ensured an air of sophistication.

STYLING
Brendan from Styled Events aimed to create a fresh and sophisticated ceremony and reception setting for this shoot by teaming classic white Americana seating with modern styling. Natural linen, creative stationery and abundant florals were the focal points, offset by earthy stoneware and streamlined glasses.
