Photographer Marina Ridgway stepped out from behind the lens to join longtime sweetheart Lee Nell for a dreamy beach wedding. We were very taken with the cool handmade details, whimsical accents and gelato palette of peach, blue, green and red.
Special Memory
“Our vows and presenting our children (Lucy 4 years and Luca 18 mths) special pendants with Lee and my fingerprints on them by Forever Inspired by Liv.”
Styling Notes
Inspired by wedding blogs such as Green Wedding Shoes, Marina created handmade pompoms and backdrops, filled vintage glasses and vases with flowers to match her bouquet, and included personal touches like a table of family photographs and a fingerprint tree which invited guests to leave their mark. A crocheted tablecloth made by Lee’s Croatian grandmother adorned one of the tables as a sentimental accent and a fun ice cream sundae bar from Gelativo with tasty toppings completed the day.
Funniest Moment
Marina says “the Photobooth would have to be a highlight of the night! SO much fun!”
