City Wedding Style - New York Glam

This week is going to be all about city weddings; styling, locations, hints, tips and a real life wedding to top it off. We're going to start our city week with this gorgeous shoot from the Spring 2013 issue of QB, unfortunately we couldn't fit all of the pictures in the printed feature, so we thought we'd share the rest here!

Vibrant centrepieces, a rooftop setting at dusk and a seriously stylish party atmosphere combined to produce an achingly chic New York style soiree by Cara Marie Designs and Styled Events.

Flowers
Nicole from Stem Design aimed to create a floral statement that was bright and fun with a modern edge - everything that New York embodies. Eclectic pops of purple, yellow and green orchestrated the daringly stylish vision, which introduced a touch of woodland fantasy through green moss and decorative glass cloches.

Stationery
Drawing inspiration from the iconic New York City cabs, Cara from Cara Marie Designs incorporated splashes of yellow against a foundation of black and white for a vivid range of stationery.Texture and interest was introduced through newspaper and twine, with plenty of New York references featured on the menus, invitations and decorative paper items.
